Tourist Attractions in Prague



Prague is considered the most beautiful city of central Europe and it is also one of the most visited one with the fall of communism in 1989. Prague is full of sightseeing opportunities as it is filled with historic buildings, ancient as well as modern architecture and maintains its rustic old look in spite of modernization of the past couple of decades.

The most popular sightseeing destinations among the tourist are the Prague castle, Charles Bridge, the Old town, Josefov, the New town, the Lesser Town, Loreta, Strahov Monastery, Prague Dancing House, Vyšehrad, Petřínská rozhledna, Prague Giant metronome and the Memorial to the 1989 Velvet Revolution. In fact, the Prague Castle is the largest historic castle of the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Prague also has several museums ranging from City Gallery to Technical Museum, from Museum of Fine Arts to Military museum.

There is a lot to do in the Czech capital. One can go around exploring the old city which still maintains its rustic looks with cobblestone streets of the old town with spectacular views of the buildings and churches or enjoy the nightlife in one of the several bar and clubs around the city.
